just joined from the good old uk and im looking forward to viewing the posts and being part of the forum.
lots of intrests inc sci fi costuming,models,dvd ,etc,especially love anything sci fi/strampunk related ie rocketeer,twenty thousand leagues and so on

Hey guys, I'm Ellie, between myself and my younger sister, we are attemting to slowing make some props, etc, mainly interested in Warehouse 13 and programmes of the same. Oh yeah, we are in the UK, so findining some items, proving rather hard!

Hey guys,

New on this and luving it so far. I luv to costume, but i cannot make things to save myself. Pls dont frown upon me. I generally just look for things and put stuff together to make a costume. I was given this site as a suggestion from a friend who said i would be able top buy quality replicas and other things. So here i am. Looking forward to buying thats for sure from the equipment iv seen so far-my bank manager gunna kill me. But watever. And always up for any new suggestions. Gotta say I’m well chuffed to find this site. I have to admit that with all the tutorials on here I have pinched some ideas. I’ve made various models and props over the years and now I’ve got a bit more time to get back into it. I didn’t realise how much nerf guns leave themselves open to adaption into Syfy props. I look forward to learning more from everyone and maybe I’ll be able to put something in the pot as well. Yours Paul

New, of course Stumbled across this site looking for a tut on how to make a wand holster and got sucked in!

I'm working on a couple of different costumes (Harry Potter(various chars), Ren. Fair, various anime, and SteamPunk) though I can't say I'll be truly building or designing anything other than a wand holster. Money's a bit tight with helping the 'rents out but whatever I can spare is headed to the savings jar

This place is amazing! Can't wait to immerse myself fully in what it has to offer!

hi everyone, i got into costume making when i was trying to find a way to make a fallout 3 costume and thats when i found out about pepakura.After that i make an army of two mask and now im trying to make a warmachine full armor suit and yet im only 15

Hey everyone! I've been browsing the forums for a while on and off since Comic Con 2011. I came here because I wanted to find out about how I would even attempt to go about making an armor type costume like the Iron Man costumes because I wanted to make a Gray Fox (Metal Gear Solid) costume. After learning about pepakura and stuff, it got me interested in making props and other stuff. Hopefully I can get something off the ground pretty soon. Here's a couple smiley faces I guess...:behave:darnkids:lol

Been signed up a while now, and lurking more than anything as been wanting a TDK suit. Ive managed to find one now and getting it made over xmas, should receive by Mid Jan.

My eyes were truly opened to cosplay when I attended the London MCM expo, was a great experience.

Whats up everyone! The name is Vanti, I'm new to costuming & prop making. I took an interest in it recently and my kids love heroes as much as I do so I thought it'd be a great hobby.
