Hello, I'm Adam, though online friends generally use some shortened version of my handle, so as you prefer.

I've always loved movies and theater and how a good prop, set or costume can help tell a story or even tell one of it's own. I've visited the RPF for years for research, but faced with a question I haven't been able to sleuth out decided it was well past time to officially join up.

Hello. I'm sorry if it seems like a repeat on the subject, but I'm Sydney, an autistic and I didn't think I introduced myself properly, and I'm VERY big into making props and costumes from our favorite '60"s- early 2000's Horror & Slasher film franchises. While there are some props I make that are more accurate than others, I hope all who see them will like them just the same, and I am glad to be a part of the RPF, and will be grateful to any means of advice along the way in making my props, (credit goes to the responsible people able to help. Thank You! :)

Hi everyone. My name is Tim and I’m based in the UK.

I’m new to prop building. My love for movies, practical effects and props goes way back over 30 years.

I lost my Dad earlier this year and found tinkering with projects a huge release.

My skills are very much still at an amateur level but I take pride in my attention to detail.

I look forward to sharing some of my projects with you all soon and will continue to appreciate and admire the wonderful talents amongst the community.

Hello, my name is Brian. I love all things sci-fi and satirical. I'm pretty new to the prop-building world, but I've been working on cutting my teeth on a few fun projects, mainly droids, other random robots, and blasters. I've done some old-school kitbashing, though now I have fallen down the 3d printing rabbit hole. Work introduced me to some incredible professional additive manufacturing processes, and I've brought them home to the office. Mostly with FFF printing, but I'm on a trek to master the SLA world next.

Hello everyone, I'm Nicolas, mostly known as Miniatua online. Been reading the forum for a few years, decided to make an account recently. I'm a scratch build scale model maker who mostly makes computer / tech related thing but recently started making movies scaled replicas. I'm here to see what others do and to share my work to people who might be interested in it. Hopefully connecting with like minded people, learning new things, getting constructive criticism of my work. Planning on posting my work in progress on here. I often only post online my completed projects, it would be nice to have people comment on it as I work.

Attached are samples of my two latest movie related scaled props/sets, from WarGames, the WOPR and David's bedroom.

Hello to all! My name's LeremiSilver. I'm kind of new to props and all the glory/gory that goes with seeking/making them. Glory is the joy in successes, and gory is the headaches that often come along that journey. I'm a beader, technically a bead weaver. Most people don't class me as a maker (I make jewelry) or a jewelry (I work in seed beads). I am me is all I can say to them.

My passion is primarily Legend of Zelda, Link especially. I have jewelry that I've made from the games over the years, using seed beads and thread mostly. Not exact replicas, but pretty close. I've got all 3 Spiritual Stones earrings and pendants from Ocarinia of Time, working on the Medallions from same, working masks from Majora's Mask, and still need to tweak and remake the cuff that Zelda wears in Skyward Sword. I'm also a Trekkie. I've got some of the insignias from original Star Trek and Next Gen completed.

Thank you for allowing me to learn and interact with you guys!

Hello everyone! My name is Mirek, I'm from the Czech Republic-Central Europe. I've been a modeller since I was 10 years old, I glue and modify mainly cars in the scale 1:43 to 1:8. I also collect old toys from my childhood... I really like the movies Alien@Predator and action hits from the 80s-90s. I found a lot of beautiful inspiration and threads of skilled people here. I hope to contribute something in the future (I only have Facehugger and Alien Chestburster 1:1, Terminator 2 arm not yet finished..) a lot of posters with signatures of stars ,now I am finishing the premises of my workplace ..
Thanks for the welcome to the forum!!

Good morning fellow preds, my name is Pete I am oit of El Paso Texas. I've been a predator fan since a kid and due to some events never was able to afford a whole suit. I finally dove into building one for my son and I and we love them. It is the very first time ever building anything like this. I have been painting motorcycles since I was a kid so I tried to pay attention to detail but again it's all new to me. I am a firefighter here in El Paso for 10 years now and I hope to advance our suit more. Hope you guys enjoy them. Took us about 2 months or so to build them.

Hello!!

I've been lurking here for a few months and decided it was about time to make an account.

My main interests are Indiana Jones gear and all things Star Wars. I'm a member over on Club Obi Wan, and I go by Western New York Indy there. I love building things and finding ways to DIY props and costume pieces. I'm excited to be able to learn from people who know more than I do and access all the knowledge stored in this community!

Hello all, my name is Chad and I’ve been a model builder since childhood. Recently I purchased a couple of 3D printers which as you can imagine have changed the game for me. I have since developed a passion for recreating movie, game and tv show prop guns, especially all versions of the DL-44. I have learned about this forum through research on the DL-44. I have been a big Star Wars fan all my life but am just now realizing and am surprised at how many variants of the DL-44 there are as Han Solo is my favorite character. Here are a few examples of what I have printed so far.
