Hi,
My name is Sam and I am 14.
I have only just started making props, I am 6 months into my R2 build and have been loving it. I hope to build up a collection of props throughout my life. Best to start young!!

Hi all!
Just joined the site after perusing it for about 2yrs while doing research for building my MPC Millennium Falcon.
All I can say is thank you to the members on here for the invaluable information I discovered that helped me turn a 'pig' into something I still can't believe I built.
Do I ever have the building bug now! Lol. Thanks RPF

Hi all!
Just joined the group here after finally deciding i wanted to build something! I've always been a fan of movies, video games, and most importantly how they're made. I love props and costumes and thought i'd attempt something new. :) I've searched thru the forums here and found great inspiration in several of you guys! Looking forward to being a part of this great community. Hope to see y'all at the Con one of these days! Thanks

Howdy!

My name is Mikael (pronounced Michael, though I am female). I've only recently started to make costumes and love it! I've created two full costumes thus far and am looking for some insight on current projects!

I love Fantasy. Dragons, magic, Minotaurs, you name it! I play World of Warcraft and plan on making some WoW costumes in the future.

As of right now I am working on a full Otachi costume from Pacific Rim and am in need of DIRE assistance with a few aspects. I'll be asking around for help BIG time as my due date is the first week of April for Anime Boston's Kaiju vs. Mecha theme.

Here is her head so far!

Howdy everyone,
I am very new to this whole thing but absolutely love the idea of creating things. I have been an artist nearly all of my life but mostly fine art (drawing, painting, etc) I look forward to learning from all of the experienced and talented...costumers? Without further ado let's do this.

Hi,

Another long time lurker here, some amazing stuff being made on this forum.

Considering my first build (Portal Gun) at the moment.

Hey guys. I've been lurking for a while and I felt like I should make a account and try my hand at projects

Hi, I am delighted to be here to present my creations on RPF, for some time I work on two replicas, captain américa, and police robot in the movie Total Recall 2012.
For some time I see everywhere RPF and this intrigued me and that's why I'm here today and saw what I see there is a very fine achievement.
I live in the south of France, and did not speak English, unfortunately, I manage to translate our friend Google translator, hoping that it is properly translated.

Hello everyone! I'm excited to be a part of your community, i've seen this site before and ive finally decided to make an account. Does anyone know what happened to the file archive?

Hello everyone!

I've peeked over the shoulder of a work buddy for years now at the work done here, and its amazing. Finally joined up.
I don't make props myself, but I do collect some here and there, when I have the money/or space for them.

I dig this stuff:

Star wars
Indiana Jones
Pirates of the Caribbean
The Fifth Element

I just spent a few hours poking around here :D

You guys do amazing work!!

Greetings to all.
I am Kusak Aka Eric Martin. I am one of the folks who is a resident of the 405th. I have recently finished my first HALO odst build. Now that the first build of it has been finished the modification stage because I am not happy with parts of my life begins as I continue to improve my skills.

You can see some pictures of the current build as well as my German shepherd Montanna who is assisting here on the second page of the thread. http://www.405th.com/f21/odst-build-kusak3-ashuraa-41641/index2.html

But to my reason for arriving here. My wife Ash told me to roam this way first off. Second with the fact that my wife and I are members of a local game club we have found ourselves back in the ranks of others who like doing costumes. Her and I both have intent to do costumes from other lines so being here helps. Second we have found ourselves with people who want costumes but need help in making it happen. My wife and I enjoying the helping are embarking on helping them build there first costumes that are not purchased from a vendor.

So all in all here because we have fallen down the rabbit hole head first.

Hello, hello, you talented folks!

Been following threads on this site for a few years, marvelling and finding inspiration for my own little projects.
Listing all the Video Games and Movies I enjoy would be a tiresome list indeed, but for the purpose of making things that I've enjoyed seeing on-screen - My favourite franchises are Assassin's Creed and Fallout.

I've made 3 costumes for myself (complete with props and accessories), and shown my work at New Zealand's modest little pop-culture convention known as "Armageddon".
Looking forward to making more costumes this year, improving my skills, and hearing what you all think of it!

Thanks for having me!
