Hello, i am new here. i may lerk a lot but hope to post things of value and learn along the way. i have interests in Sci Fi and a number of different things. props and collecting hold a big appeal.

i am very impressed with so much of what i have seen here so far so much talent on this board i tip my hat to all the skills.

Hi, I am a Theatre major in college right now with an emphasis in tech and design. So you can see an interest in props already. I'm not really that much of an artist yet, but I do really enjoy making props and stuff.
Once I saw this forum existed, I had to join. This place is awesome.

Hi I'm not so much of a prop maker (yet) but a photographer who would love props that I have seen in this forum within my shoots. I especially like the way people paint up the Nerf's! I think I may have a go at one of these.

Anyway, I'm just started out in the SupHero Photography / Cosplay World and very much looking forward to using some awesome props.

Hello all. I was directed here by another member and I'm glad I was. It's nice to see how helpful and supportive everyone here is regardless of anyones skill level. I've been building things all my life but in the last few years have gotten into prop makeing, mostly things from movies. Here are a few things I've built.

Hello everyone. New member here from Pgh, PA. Ive only been lurking around a month
now, and I look forward to good feed back from the community. Im mostly into Star
Wars modeling. I have dreams of fab'ing lifesized X-Wing and Y-Wing cockpits, with
working canopies, which would allow for some in-cockpit filming and greenscreen work.

Someday, if time and money permit, a lifesize Falcon cockpit.

I have been a member of the BOTB for quite awhile. Now that my first childhood dream (89 batman costume) has come to "as good as it gets" for me (for now ) I have made the decision to start on my second costume a Judge Dredd movie costume.
I live in the Netherlands.

I hope to learn alot and get inspired.

Hello everyone,

I wanted to introduce myself and say hi. I'm pretty new to prop building but found a passion for it when I built a Proton Pack and Ghost Trap this past summer.

I currently have a replica Mauser pistol and am looking to find parts or kit to construct either a Type 1 or Type 2 DL-44 Blast Tech pistol from Star Wars.

Hi all.

Phil, living in the UK. I always wanted to get into costuming/cosplay/whatever you want to call it. I'm a big comics fan, and life stage (essentially money!) means that I plan to start going to comicons worldwide now.

I found my way here for a Loki movie helmet, and I've been watching all the videos I can re: pepakura etc, while trying to decipher American words (Bondo?!) into UK English!!

Hope to be around for a while. Thanks for the fantastic community you have here, it's amazingly useful for a newb like me.
