Limited Run New Korbanth saber runs - LS6 reveal Gullwing and Crossguard 2.0 details inside

The Gullwing Kit is glorious, it is honestly a thing of beauty. Randy, great work man, this is just an awesome addition to the display.

Agreed. Love looking at this thing. Trying to decide on which build to do. Thanks again Randy! I'll be sure to leave feedback.

Anyone know how to put the crystal chamber together?? The directions are very small and I can't see them.

Thanks

Here are some. I even tried putting together the Crystal chamber. Alas, mine doesn't work in the end. I think the electronics board fried. It lit up for a second and then dark. I'll have to take it apart and test all the components. Since it was a bonus add on anyway, no harm no foul.

Little bit of damage here and there but nothing terrible. Overall, a nice addition to my collection.

For The crystal Chamber, It is kind of simple assembly, Although mine doesn't work so basically use this as a general guide.
1) Be sure to sand down the edges if the microchip so that it slides inside the aluminum cylinder freely. The silver solder part faces down and the white LED box faces up.

2) Watch out for the tab the yellow arrow is pointing at. Make sure your battery can make contact with the center solder point. If not, either add solder to the center point of shave down these tabs before you finalize the assembly.

3) Dry fit the assembly together. This plastic cover piece needed to be shaved Where I circled it in black. Otherwise it would not sit flush to the chip. The solder was holding it up.

Below is the mid section assembly

4) Place 1 magnet that comes with the kit snugly into the bottom screw cap of the battery holder. I believed this should be glued in but don't do it till after you are finished with dry-fitting the pieces and making sure everything works first.

5) the crystal gets glued to the top.
6) This is what it is supposed to look like completely assembled.

And now I have the fun of disassembling the parts to see what went wrong. Learn from my mistakes kids! Dry fit everything first without glue and ensure it is working.

Mine arrived yesterday. I haven't done much yet. I'm going to go for an idealized shared stunt/ V3 on this one. So far, I've only swapped out the V2 lever for a Graflex style lever (and I flipped the clamp around for the correct orientation), but I'll be swapping out the triangle ring for a d-ring, removing some black anodizing on the grenade section, and adding some satin black on the ring just beneath the emitter lip. I may order a Slothfurnace clamp card, or I might make one from brass plate and black pinstriping tape. The stock circuit card isn't a bad option, either, seeing as how this is an idealized version.

I'm not so fond of the stock crystal, so I may 3D print something a bit more interesting. I could even cast that in resin, but now I feel like I'm getting ahead of myself.

I love the reveal sliding mechanisms on this saber. They are so smooth, and the ball bearing locking is a really nice feature. I'm still not quite sure how I feel about the artistic liberties taken with the emitter details in particular, but the design itself is quite clever and the added details do look pretty cool when displayed in full reveal mode. While I probably would prefer a more accurate emitter, I must say that this design is a lot of FUN. I definitely appreciate the intricacy of it all.

Is the v2 lever compatible with a regular graflex clamp? Do you want to sell it to me?

Greetings - last year we were able to help saber fans with Graflex 2.0, MPP 2.0, Crossguard, OWK, K4, DV6 and even the DM1 double sided hilts...and which all are still available for purchase in very low quantities right now, by going to www.korbanth.com

This year were going to be doing 3 new saber hilts -

1 - LS6 Reveal Gullwing
2 - Crossguard 2.0
3 - Sid 2.0

I have attached photos and if you want information such as how much, when can you get one, how do you get one, when will you get it. Then the BEST way is to sign up to get the news emailed to you on the NEW PROJECT RUNS. - sign up by going to - www.korbanth.com/signup

ordering will start in a few weeks...new project

1 - LS6 reveal gullwing (empty hilt) so you can install electronics, sound boards, will take both 7/8 inch and 1 inch blade, has reveal chamber for light up crystal, and will come with both activation boxes, for V1 hero and V2 stunt...a cool saber just in time for this Decembers movie

2 - crossguard 2.0 - you loved the 1.0 version, so now the 2.0 is better more accurate, and made better for adding your own 3 light up blades...a fan favorite and sure to be seen again this December -

3 - Sid 2.0 - a revamped model of the ole SID - this saber is FREE - you do not have to buy it, if you sign up for the NEW PROJECT RUNS by going to www.korbanth.com/signup - you will get the details on this offer - signing up does NOT obligate you to anything, it is purely a way for me to make sure your in the know when I announce the run has begun and details.

Thank you
