We know the source pic-- the question is if the original is color, and it was just reproduced in B&W for the Chrronicles book where it appeared.

My point was to show how the color grading matches. Well at least they do me and I do not see color on the paper at all after looking at the source photo.

Here's the one I found this past year locally, it's the thickest of these early ones I've seen

Cause you haven’t seen this yet..

No evidence of side rivets on any ESB stuff that has been seen. Rivets are super easy to install - drill the hole, put in the rivet, squeeze the rivet gun a few times. Would take about as long to do one as it did to read these sentences.

Yea, all the graflexes in ESB so far don't show any of these alterations. Different/new flashes

I guess it's possible after ANH the between-the-grip rivets were drilled out and removed, and the saber was re-made with new grips covering the holes.

I think the ESB sabers were all made from newly-acquired flashes. The ANH hero was either thrown away, stolen, or somebody is quietly sitting on it.

I understand that people are excited (as am I), but it's "The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art," not "The NEW Lucasfilm Archive 2: Electric Boogaloo!"

"It will hold paintings, photography, illustration, cinematic art and digital art from Lucas's personal collection..."

And YES "a Star Wars exhibit." (y)

It's not purely a Star Wars museum. I know that he has a sizable collection of Norman Rockwell paintings for starters...
