It's great to be on holiday, I finally get to work on all the props that I've been amassing! :lol

Resin JP Raptor Claw I painted up:

Preserved piranha (this will go with my oriinal Piranha 2 poster once i find a frame for it) - repainted the eyes on this:

Indie's Map to the Golden Idol (a fun little weathering project). Ghostbusters temple doors still to be painted:

Gremlin foetus - the newly finished one is the one not in my hand - it's almost exactly the same sculpt as the smaller one, but quite a bit bigger, with different details and flatter:

Bruce Campbell resin lifemask (that I'm going to TRY to open the eyes up on before painting) and framed pages from the Necronomicon:

Beetlejuice shrunken head guy (I got the more accurate shirt, but still looking for the accurate scarf)

AND I spent a few days clearing out all my old Star Wars stuff out of my built-in wardrobe and removed the doors. Finally, space to display more stuff! Half of the stuff here needs sanded and painted (or REPAIRED! Grrrr......):

EDIT: While I'm at it, here's some more pics of the rest of my collection (some of this will be going to make it less cluttered and more lifesize prop related):

critters are awesome
where did you find them?

Critters is my absolute favourite movie - just love those creatures! :)

The two large Krites were made by Bump In The Night Productions (no longer produced).

The baby Krites are my own sculpt - one is from "Critters 2":

The other is a newborn Krite from "Critters 4":

I also have another adult Krite on the way to me that I think was made by KreationX (I *think* that was the company's name). I just pray it gets here (had a few things go missing in the post from the US....). This one will need a bit of a repaint and probably new fur:

Wow!

Awesome collection!!

You have some great pieces there! :thumbsup

Great collection! I really love the shrunken head!!

Yeah, it's a nice piece - sculpted by a guy in the US who's studied tsantsa for years. I was teaching about Rainforests this year and when we did about tribes I brought it in. The kiddies were really freaked! Well I did tell them it was real..... :lol

Nice Mars attacks bust!

Yeah, it's a strange one. Never ever seen anything like it before. Aparently it was made for promotional purposes for the movie. It is SOLID porcelain! It weights a TON! Seriously, it's 16kg! Sadly when it was being shipped to me it broke in transit. Thankfully it's a fairly clean break, so it should be fairly easy to repair with a bit of hot glue, Milliput and paint.

I have to know... Where did you get the BR collar?

Can't quite remember, it's either from DreamAngels or PrettyThings647 on eBay. It's the blinking version. It's just such a great film and I've just finished reading the novel. I'd love to track down a Japanese-looking mannequin head to display it on. It goes well with this custom I painted up:

As a gremlins collector I discovered something capital thanks to your pics... The new Gremlin foetus you have, which is bigger than the other one. I found the smaller one years ago, and the comparison is very interesting. According to its particular design, it is more than probable than Steve Wang sculpted it (it looks like Steve's Mohawk character from G2, very different from the other ones), but the smaller one is a better sculpt... I always thought the ones used in the film were smaller, but now that I see that bigger one and compare with screenshots, it seems that it is the bigger one that was used on screen! I suppose Steve Wang sculpted the small one, and then the crew realized they needed a bigger sculpt to appear on screen... and some less talented assistant sculpted a bigger copy.
Thanks for posting! Great collection!

I believe it was you that I got the smaller one from actually batgremlin. :) I'd seen the 2nd gremlin foetus on eBay a few times, but always figured it was the same thing as the 1st one as the photos of it never included anything for size comparison. When I bought something from a seller in the US it got lost in the post and they ended up sending me another one, with a few little extras for the inconvenience. The larger gremlin foetus was one of those extras - I was surprised when I opened the box as I didn't know such a thing existed. :thumbsup

Nice collection HR! Of course, I'm partial to the TIE stuff :D
What is the TIE w/o his helmet? Fel? Where did you get that?
