new Captain America bodysuit?

Does anyone know if there is a new Captain America zentai suit? The black one with the shield shaped blue and red/white stripes on front?

hmm..if I were you I would look into commissioning someone to do it out of some sort of plastic. The new captain america looks like armor- rather than just cloth.

Either plastic or maybe you could even cut up a batman suit (latex) to resemble that armor part.

Put the zentai suit underneath the latex or the plastic armor... for the sides and the pants... add boots and a shield and you should be good to go.

i think someone made it but you can get it made, have them use the shiny lycra for the top, it should work out nicely...

I think the "Bucky" Cap suit is based on the same armor technology used in Spider-man's red-and-gold suit manufactured by Stark when Peter served briefly under Tony Stark.

I'm glad the real Cap is returning soon.

I just don't buy Bucky as Captain America. It doesn't feel right. Steve Rogers IS Captain America.

That and the fact is that Alex Ross doesn't do good character designs... He's a good painter, yes, but is poor at character design, plots, and writing in general.

The original Cap costume designed by Joe Simon is far superior to Ross's version. I just don't like the black in that outfit with the "Shield front" (MJM Enterprises ought to sue for copyright infringement except for the fact that all of about 3 people know who the Shield is!) and the firearm/holster. Captain America stopped being a soldier when World War II ended and is a superhero now. I really found myself at odds with Captain Bucky when this mess started...

The only Captain America variant costume that I ever cared for was the outfit originally worn by Steve Rogers as The Captain. It's basically the same costume US Agent wears now...

I also like Alex Ross' painting style, but his costume re-designs just don't do it for me, and too many of them look the same, this Spider-Man, for example...

I didn't have a problem w/ Bucky returning as the Winter Soldier, always liked the charcter. But, killing off Cap, just so they could let Alex Ross redesign the suit??? Stopped reading comics when I heard that. Well, I'd stopped years ago, in the late 80's. Sold 90% of my collection (60's-80's) to fund my Panther Batsuit, (and sold it tooo) but I kept my entire run of Tales of Suspense and Captain America, as well as the Avengers.

Captain America is Steve Rogers. He wears one suit, the same one he always has. He doesn't carry a friggin' gun!

They are bringing back Steve Rogers? Wow, such a surprise that is...:cool
