New C3po Arms: wearable, DP-sized

This is a project we've worked on for months and I finally have something to share. For so long, the only wearable C-3po arms available were the Disney -sized arms, which tend to make Threepio look a little too muscle-bound.

These new arms are the same size as the Don Post statue arms, AND they're wearable and functional. You've got to be pretty thin - these fit my hulking arms pretty snug. The hands are strictly for display, but they are the screen-style hands as well. The only thing that isn't shown is the elbow knobs, those little caps that fit over the screws - those were made as well. I'll try them on with my existing costume for a photo before sending them to be chromed. Let me know what you think!

Yes, the pistons slide in and out and the elbow joint pivots.

Nice! It really makes you respect and miss the good work that Don Post Studios put into their higher end display pieces and classic action masks. There's a Rubies standard 3PO mask in the window of my local sci-fi store, I'm waiting to see how many days sitting in direct summer sun it'll take to melt!:lol
