Just got this from the publicist. Love this guy's work:

From Harry Potter to Hellboy, Indiana Jones to Star Wars, Drew Struzan has created some of the most iconic movie poster images in cinematic history. Now, gathering together over 300 pieces of artwork from the last 30 years, THE ART OF DREW STRUZAN [Titan Books, September 2010, $39.95/£24.99] reveals an unparalleled insight into the acclaimed artist’s movie work.

Accompanied by excerpts from an exclusive interview with the artist, the development of forty projects is related and explained in this stunning hardback. From black and white and color comprehensives, presenting concepts for the pieces, through to the final art, this volume looks in-depth for the first time at the evolution of Struzan’s inimitable posters.

In addition to some of his most well-known artwork, this collection also showcases scores of previously unseen pieces, including alternative concepts for films such as Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Blade Runner and unused art for movies such as Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome and Waterworld.

Well this looks like it will be the third 'Art of Struzan' book in my collection.

I'm a big fan of Drew's, but I picked up the huge hardcover last time, Drew Struzan: Oeuvre.
I think I'll skip this one.

Cool news. Love Drew's work. I got to meet him briefly at Celebration in 1999 and had a nice chat with him.

Just got a copy of this and it's really nice. It's almost all other concept art that wasn't used, so it's not just another poster collection, and more of a companion to the previous books.

I might pick this one up. They really need to do a Frazetta (Underwood Books) style edition for Drew Struzan. He also needs to somehow do the posters for the final Harry Potter movies. A two poster spread like he did with the Star Wars Special Editions would be awesome.

Well damn they need to issue some of these as posters!

I don't have room for too many posters anymore like I did once upon a time.
And frankly I am bored to death with some of the popular ones because I had them up in some cases for decades. So anything like the above gets my interest fast. It's like the movie is just coming out today.

Good to know.
I was going to skip it because I thought it would be a rehash of the previous ones.

A couple more. Forgive the poor quality, just trying to give you an idea of what the book is like. I’ll try using my scanner later to get better images, but for now…

Very cool! Seeing concept work is always a big plus for me.

In case anyone missed it, he also released a DVD covering his process (concept through completion) for the making of the Hellboy II poster:

Professional Media Production | Reel Ideas

It might seem pricey for a DVD, but it contains a huge amount of insight into not only his techniques, but also his thought process for each step. It's a fascinating watch and highly suggested for any RPF artists that appreciate his style or have wondered how he achieves such immaculate final pieces.

Drew is such an amazing artist and just a really cool guy... Ive had the pleasure of talking to him several times at his home/studio... He said one thing that really illustrated how humble of a guy he is... He said something along the lines of, "Im just an artist... I tried to do alot of things but this was the only thing i was any good at and it provided for my family." A couple of friends and i were fortunate to see the actual paintings of all 3 back to the future posters... Amazing...
