New Airsoft PR On Evike

There should be a flip open door on top of the mag. What the instructions probably show is a speed loader that has the ability to load BB's quickly. I just pour them in from a cupped hand.

Thanks. Ill have a look later. I couldnt see anyway of opening though as i didnt want to be too forceful.

Thanks, I'm hoping I get to play with it on the weekend. Need to set up some sort of area in my garden as judging from videos the gun looks quite powerful

Just be sure to charge the battery for 5-6 hours before using it. Mine works perfectly and fires crazy fast, but many people have complained about the battery...and it may have something to do with the first charge time.

Oh! And smart of you to do it outside - I fired mine at the shipping box indoors and made one heck of a mess!! LOL!!

Thanks for that suggestion. I've found the flap now, I wouldn't of realised it did that if you hadn't of told me

Cheers

Yeah I did see a couple of people complaining about the battery. I'll try it with the one it came with and see how I get on.

I'll say that if you guys are going to use it a bunch to shoot get some better BBs. the ones that are shipped with it aren't great and the Crossman brand at walmart aren't either. The higher end rifles can shatter the cheap BBs before they leave the barrel and might mess something up.

Just sayin'.

Now that my display has been finished, my PR is going to rest almost permanently on her throne!!

On a funny note though, I took my PR to show a friend yesterday and he was visibly nervous when he saw it....his mother in law arrived while I was giving him the info on it and his immediate reaction was for me to put it back in my vehicle ...lol...

I can't wait until friends who don't know about it come over and see it on the wall!! hahahhaha

I've had similar reactions... Badass looking toy.

My PR finally arrived today and it looks like it was damaged during shipping. :angry I hate UPS

I am not the type of guy to return things, and I am going to take it apart to make some mods anyway, but for $250 bucks it should be perfect....right?

UPDATE: Evike issued me a RMA within a few days and sent me a prepaid shipping label to return it.

Finally received the replacement PR yesterday. Now the mods begin :)

Sweet! Yeah, UPS is terrible, they chucked one of my packages onto my doorstep, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! I should have ripped him a new one considering the package contained a $400 turntable.

Thank goodness it was well packaged.

I wish I could be there for every step of their package throwing assembly line so I could punch them in the face.

Ha, don't get me started on Pulse Rifles and UPS!!!!!

I am not having much luck here. I followed the instructions and charged the battery of my replacement PR for 5 hours, chambered a round and when I pulled the trigger only got a soft thump from the pistol grip area. Other posts say that the 8.4V Ni-MH battery it comes with is barely up to the task so I put it on the charger for a few more hours but still get the same results. I have an email into Evike tech support but can anyone on here offer any repair suggestions?

This is what has happened with many. The stock battery is not big enough.

You need the bigger one.

I got it and it works great.

I'll post the link again. It barely fits so be sure to get this exact one.

Thanks Jameth. Thats my last resort. I am interested to hear what Evike says. I am not going to skirmish with it so I don't really want to spend money on the airsoft function but it should work out of the box. I'd rather spend my time and effort making it more screen accurate. The shooting part is just a bonus.
