I have that foil tape as well. I got it in the heating and air conditioning section at Lowes. Yes, there are a few metal pins that press fit into the shrouds, at least there were on the G&P kit I had and since this is a near clone of it... Pry straight up and work your wat around the shrouds and you should be good to go. Ordering my PR tomorrow. I missed one on the Bay by a dollar as I wasn't home to watch the end!

Gotta give a HUGE thanks go gyoung for these awesome items!! This really made my week!! Now this weekend I'll be starting construction on a wall mount display! Pics to come for sure!

Just brought the uk snow wolf pulse rifle. Had to get it in two tone due to our laws but I'm hoping it won't be too much work to look accurate. Only cost £179, couldn't say no at that price. I'll post pics when it arrives

When you say that it has to be in two tone due to your laws, what do you mean? Half orange?? Congrats on your purchase!!

The shrouds are blue, everything else is coloured correctly.
With a bit of tape and some spray paint shouldn't be too hard to change. I already have a hcg Brown Bess so this version I might go with olive drab.

Ahh! Here, it's just the tips of the barrels that get the orange pieces. That sucks that you have to repaint them. Cool though that you'll have 2 PRs!!!

Once you do that you have a registration number you use to buy the gun. No where near me to do that so I'm stuck with two tone.

Wow...registration for an imitation firearm!!! Well...that just means that you'll have a lot more practice at painting and detailing than I probably will!! LOL!!! I have been reading about weathering and how to do that, but I'm really hesitant as I just got this piece....I'd almost rather have a dummy one to practice on first...so I'm thinking about picking up a NERF gun (just any cheap one) and seeing how that process works before touching my 'fresh of the assembly line' Pulse rifle.

I think you get what you pay for...Some guys love this thing. I want to get one myself. Some rework the thing..Which is great.As a whole I think for around $200.00 bucks you really can't go wrong. If ya got a Dremel tool and modify the PR the way you want it.then it's worth the price.Not perfect... But great never the less..:thumbsup

I agree - and the Evike PR is an amazing bargain.

Though...I think that it's really hard NOT feel the desire and drive to do something to personalize the things that we purchase.

...it's like a drug...once you buy and mod one prop...you're addicted...lol...

Very interested. Can you PM details? Also, off topic, looking for an aluminum M40 grenade. I made my own stock locking mech when I built the PR in my avatar. That's a fairly easy mod.

So mine has just arrived, I'll put a pic up shortly. It came with a battery and battery charger and a magazine with some bb's. looks good so far. It came with instructions but I don't understand how you load the bb's. there's a picture of some sort of funnel attached to the magazine. Instructions say " insert charger into magazine" anyone help me out?

There should be a flip open door on top of the mag. What the instructions probably show is a speed loader that has the ability to load BB's quickly. I just pour them in from a cupped hand.

Heres mine. Now this is made by snow wolf, apart from the two tone it seems the same as the Evike. Anybody know anything about this?
