never before sculpted

Hey well after a long time of me saying i will,
I've gone bought some clay! And began sculpting.
(will post pictures later today) however I have noticed
It's incredible hard to get a smooth constant surface.
I'm not up to the detailed part yet. Kind looks like a P1
But im going from memory and it's kinda taking it's own
Way. Dunno if it's good or bad. Let me know when I put
My pics up. Be nice I'm a sculpt virgin.

Ha ha was thinking I needed a new protein
To put weight on they taste like crap too.
May give clay a go, not too sure of the protien
Content lol
 
done some more work today. not a great deal but can see where im going with the design. again help with finishing off the piece would be great

well im kinda near the end of my sculpt i think. need all the small detail in the skin and quill holes and some work on the inner jaw. any suggestions on how to create a good skin effect????? advive would be greatly appreciated. any ways check out the sculpt in the pics below. cheers guys and gals
