I really hope someone here worked on it as well, excited to see what they have instore for us prop wise in this showI loved that behind the scenes featurette. I’d love to know who was making things as there seems to be some quality craftsmanship there.
IDK why, but I always assumed the 'spine' was more flexible. Kinda moved like an elephant's trunk.more pics of the helm
Wait till you get to my age....IDK why, but I always assumed the 'spine' was more flexible
Not sure if you saw, but the painting/weathering vid was posted today.View attachment 1607147
Template is printed, labeled and cut. The layout isn’t exactly how it’s gonna look cause it’s 2d right now on paper but once the materials come in I’ll get to cutting and glueing together!
Saw it, probably just gonna follow it exactly when I get to that point. I’m gonna make some design changes on the bone part that curves down. The pieces look a little to large for me, gonna be based more off the show version in that aspect but the paint I think looks perfect so I’m just gonna do what he did for that. Not sure if you saw, but the painting/weathering vid was posted today.
The green surprised me, but I liked it. I wasn't aware of the baking soda/super glue trick, but I think I'm going to do white glue & Kleenex for the texturing on the face pieces.Saw it, probably just gonna follow it exactly when I get to that point. That's the one we were talking about.
I’m waiting on my 10 and 6mm then I should be set to build, with you luck with yoursThat's the one we were talking about.
Here's the vids with the templates & painting guide...
Waiting on my 1mm & 4mm foam.
You as well. I REALLY wanted to support Steve by using his links, but shipping was ridiculous. I have his 'starter kit' from an earlier project with 10, 8, & 6mm, but didn't realize what I had & ordered more 6mm & a different brand of foam clay from Amazon.I’m waiting on my 10 and 6mm then I should be set to build, with you luck with yours
