Netflix sandman props

They just released a Netflix Neil Gaiman behind the scenes type video that show some of the set and props from the show. I’m really hoping more pics come soon. Stunning work whomever is involved.

I loved that behind the scenes featurette. I’d love to know who was making things as there seems to be some quality craftsmanship there.

more pics of the helm

Template is printed, labeled and cut. The layout isn’t exactly how it’s gonna look cause it’s 2d right now on paper but once the materials come in I’ll get to cutting and glueing together!

Not sure if you saw, but the painting/weathering vid was posted today.
Saw it, probably just gonna follow it exactly when I get to that point. I’m gonna make some design changes on the bone part that curves down. The pieces look a little to large for me, gonna be based more off the show version in that aspect but the paint I think looks perfect so I’m just gonna do what he did for that.

The green surprised me, but I liked it. I wasn't aware of the baking soda/super glue trick, but I think I'm going to do white glue & Kleenex for the texturing on the face pieces.

I’m waiting on my 10 and 6mm then I should be set to build, with you luck with yours
You as well. I REALLY wanted to support Steve by using his links, but shipping was ridiculous. I have his 'starter kit' from an earlier project with 10, 8, & 6mm, but didn't realize what I had & ordered more 6mm & a different brand of foam clay from Amazon.

So I have a question for you fine folks. I’m at the stage on my helmet that requires lenses and that web like stuff on it. How would I go about doing that? I can do the lenses but the webs I’m lost. Ideas and instruction would be helpful.
