Nerf longshot repaint

Hey there
I haven't posted in a while.
Here is my freshly painted Nerf Longshot.
For a store bought unmodified toy, I don't think they get any better than the longshot.
I didn't do too much.
Took it all apart and gutted the nerf mechanism.
Painted the inside all black. Who wants neon orange peaking through ?
Sanded off all the logos, and gave the whole gun a light sanding.
I ran some five minute epoxy across all the seams and screwed it back together.
Body filled all the screw holes and other places that needed it.
More sanding.
prime, mask, and paint, and mask, and paint.
All done !
I added a little bit of screen on the top front portion of the gun, and used a strip of styrene on the underside where the fore grip was supposed to go.

Thats the plan.
I may actually have a small scale smart gun arm made for it as well.
Its going to be the gun my wife carries while wearing her marine gear.

I'll post more pics as we get it all done.

Ahh the mad rush to get everything done for dragon con.
