Nerf Gun Props? YES!

Still haven't finished...

However, while not a Nerf, not a prop, and not a gun as envisioned, I thought I would share what came to mind from a thrift store find.

After taking apart, I decided this X-shot Turbo Advanced would make a great spaceship.

And before you ask, yes, it may never get done...

I know it's been a while since there were any posts here, but if anyone buys a used Nerf weapon with charge handles that you need to remove (like for example with the Nerf N-Strike Mega Centurion), I found a set of tools that can help. Just eBay or Amazon and look up "Nylon Automotive Trim Removal Tool Kit". This might help in being able to remove them with having to worry about scratching the body (they include a few nylon pry bars that can help with getting those pesky handles off).

That's a Nerf gun?! o_O
One of the Rival ball throwers, right? I'm not as familiar with the models, and that stunning paint and mod-up, not to mention the camera work, wouldn't help if I did.

Zero, ol' bean, you have scanned this thread, right? Several will absolutely deserve a similar reaction.

Still haven't found my Holmesean airgun, though...

So, I picked up a Nerf N-Strike Centurion from a Goodwill to turn into a replica of the blaster from Defiance that the town buys a lot of in Season 3 (previously posted about by me). And I have to ask: How the hell do I remove the handles for the charge arms that sticks out the sides (the orange handle seen about the M in this picture). I've tried looking for answers and have not had any luck on how to remove them after their on (as they were on when I found it), and I am very tempted to take a Dremel to it on both sides so that I can gut it.

As seen in the show:

After months of dealing with charge handles that refused to work or come apart, a screw in a spot that any of the screwdrivers I had couldn't get into, a stripped out screw head after having finally found a screwdriver small enough to get into the hole and finally purchasing tap and die bits to finally get the head of the screw completely gone, I was able to finally get the main body of the blaster disassembled. I haven't done the barrel portion of the gun just yet, but I am one step closer to getting this done. Just have to confirm the Nerf logo, the N-Strike emblem on the shoulder brace and Centurion names were sanded off on the actual prop by looking at the screencaps again and then sand them, get some good paint to paint those sections, cut some styrene strips to put in place where the charge handle used to be and get a strap to secure to it, I'll be able to have at least Phase 1 of the replica done (Phase 1 - making it look at least like a decent replica. Phase 2, which I have as optional and open for a later time, is wiring up lights and electronics to make it even more closer to how it is on screen).

One small step for man, and all that jazz. XD

Just picked up a Nerf 1887 lever-action Winchester shotgun...

Has the full stock, but shorter barrel; lever is metal, butt-stock is plastic, can't tell if the fore-stock pieces are wood or plastic; barrel is plastic.

Really well done, regardless - $100.00...
