I appreciate that! I try to put in the same work as on an actual film prop, one because I can't let something ship that I don't feel is finished and two, it's all additional practice :) I just got my first film credit listed on IMDb last week so hopefully by the end of the year I'll have enough credits showing to get on with more studio jobs that pay far better than the ones I sell publicly. If you would be intetested in that or any other gun, just let me know by PM and I'll get you a price with shipping. I can also paint resin replicas if the person has it ready to paint and that saves quite a bit versuse having to obtain the gun and then prep it for the paint :)

hahaha when i saw the picture of this on facebook when you had the barrel aimed towards the camera i thought it was one of those electronic razors :lol
 
The swmapfire looks like a net gun. It's an interesting design. I'm thinking of hacking one up, and using the back end (grip and stock) in a seburo type build.

As usual JA, very nice work! I especially like the detail work around the grip and trigger.

Thanks Noeland! I got some better photos today, I'll post them in a sec. Sorry some of the detail just gets lost with the photos unless you macro and then it's hard to tell what the heck you're looking at...possibly a giant razor of some kind! :)

I love the barrel finishing!
Two shades, one weathered and then the darker.
Outstanding work.
 
I'd be honored to have it as your desktop wallpaper. If you want a really blown-up version of it, check out the photos at bcjfla76.deviantart.com They allow you to upload in the original resolution, these being arounf 3000x2000 on average.

The red has some metallic flaking in there and it's also very close to a reddish orange color. Looks really cool in the sunlight :)

right now im working on making a pnuematic nerf gun.......is using the same concept as a pnuematic potato cannon, but will shoot nerf darts
