Hey guys,

I've been looking for some T-800 high res pics on-line but haven't had any luck. I picked up a 1:1 resin terminator in a trade but it has a lot of detail parts missing. I also tried to join the endobuildersclub but haven't heard anything back from them.

Anyways...this will be a progress thread and if anyone can shoot me some high res front, back, side, head shots I'd appreciate it.

I did a search here and it came back with interested stuff...no pics though. I also googled but no high res.

Thanks in advance! :thumbsup

You aren't dealing with a guy named Mark Tait are you? Did you happen to pick up the endo that was on ebay for aprox 2k? also a mark tait kit.

No...I saw that but didn't get that auction. The guy I was talking to "said" that he picked up the kit from a local con. His name isn't Mike but it looks like the same stuff. If it starts to go south....I'll put in a claim quick.

I really think that it's just a guy who may have bought one of those kits and is hurting financially. I'll let you know what it looks like when it gets here.

So the kit gets here...and it's not bad but it will take a few months if not a year to get the pieces ready for plating. I can't work on it everyday...so that's why I say it will take a good 6-8 months of prep. Some of the pieces will have to be reworked for sure....but I'm up for it.

Also...some of the parts came damaged from the good old USPS. So here's my question...what the best way to repair damaged resin pieces, like cracks and even complete separation. Since I can't get replacements and the parts that are cracked are the shoulder assembly and one leg piece... they have to be fixed because they are structural as far as I can tell.

Should I try superglue? Or can I use resin to bond to the resin piece itself? Suggestions for the repair?

Thanks in advance.

Well... superglue and then use magic sculpt (which is a two-part resin product) to seal and remove the seamlines and cracks.

Thanks for the help. Some of the parts I know are 2-part molds that didn't even line up at all. I'll have to separate the pieces and maybe screw them back together lined up. Some parts are in pretty ruff shape and will have to be totally remade.

The more I look at it...the more I realize this might be one of those "long-haul" projects :lol
