Need some info on National Fiber Tech products

I am developing a stopmotion project and need some fur for one of my characters.

I am doing the build-up method whereas I cut foam and build it up over my armature, then cover the whole thing in a fur skin.

I need something flexible and light. Is their synthetic fur good quality?

NFT has some great solutions for fur... they do have a 4-way stretch backing as an option that's quite flexible, but how well any fur is going to work will depend on the scale of your figure (and the look you're after).

You might wind up better with some sort of skin and then adding flocking or a simple faux acrylic fur.

I would highly recommend placing a call to NFT and giving them an idea of what you need. Their customer service is top notch and they really know their stuff.

They'll probably send you some samples based on your needs and you can go from there.
