Hi,
new here and have a problem with the catalyst used for rtv skin silicone.
The catalyst is normally a liquid, but mine had the container break and the catalyst is now a white semi solid fluffy material kind of like a thick lumpy sour cream.
Does anyone know of any way to revert this material back into a liquid form? (already tried heating, and mixing with a little vegetable oil, and no go)
This catalyst needs to be a liquid to mix evenly with the silicone to solidify/cure the silicone properly.
Any chemist types here either know a way to revert the catalyst, or another material which may also cure/catalyze this skin (like) model making silicone?
Any thoughts would be helpful.
Great forum! :love
