One of my dad's favorite movies was The Sons of Katie Elder. In the movie, they mention that a monument in the graveyard where they buried their mom was a statue of an angel pointing it's finger up towards heaven, but someone shot the finger off and now it just looks like it's shaking it's fist.
That cracked my dad up (well, that and the "HE WAS LIMPIN WHEN HE GOT HERE!" line from El Dorado), so my mom has been trying to get one for him for the past 20 odd years.
He passed away last year (almost a year ago), and lately I have been going nuts trying to find a small statue for my mom to put out by my dad's headstone, and I can't find anything remotely close to "angel looking up at heaven, pointing a finger".
I tried a few local statue places , and the best reply I got was "Well, if you have the finger, we can glue it back on!!" :confused
I am not looking for a big statue, but just something small we can put out there that is weatherproof, or at least something I can seal without it melting.
I don't recall if they showed one in the movie at all, so it's not an exact replica needed, just a general one.
Any helps appreciated on this one guys.
