Need Indiana Jones costume (or merely JACKET and HAT) for Film Shoot in NYC! Respond?

Hi all,

My company is looking for an Indiana Jones costume (as authentic as you can get) for a film shoot in New York City as soon as possible.

The company is Black20.com, and if you have not heard of us, we are an international website founded by former NBC producers. Our content has been featured on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Spike TV, the G4 Network, as well as on thousands of websites including the front page of Yahoo, Myspace, etc... Most recently, Lucasfilm and Spike TV have asked that our Star Wars: Vader Dad film be included in a Lucasfilm documentary due out this Spring on Spike TV.

The Indiana Jones video will be for a major production involving Myspace and will be seen by millions.

Black20 would need the costume for the duration of the shoot and would return it immediately afterwards. The owner of the suit would be compensated with credit in the production and appropriate links to desired websites.

I have been been putting my Indy costume together this week. Everyone here at the rpf suggested the SUPERB Indy costuming forum called club Obi Wan and they have comprehensive detailed info on making a dead-on accurate Indy costume from all three films.

What I suggest, if you don't mind my help, is going to http://www.indygear.com/cow/

where you can register at the top of the page. You won't be able to join up until Sunday, because they only authorize new members on Sunday.

Here is the key and probably the best advice I can give you: My wife and I just dove in and started reading ALL the Forum posts for the last few months. At first we had no idea what people were talking about, then as you read more and more you understand why they are so passionate about getting just the right cut on the jacket, or the best color for Indy's bag, or the exact gun or whatever. They are so good over there and they seem to want nothing more than to help everyone make the most screen accurate costume possible!

My wife and I are going more for the cheaper version of the costume, but if you want the best head over to Club Obi Wan and read read read. I should be a member next week, if you want to add me as your friend, I'm StarTrekChuck over there, and should be there after Sunday!
