Need help with 3D model

I've built a model in Strata 3D for a small part on an upcoming project and in order to get a 3D print of it, I have to add thickness to it. Unfortunately, when I try to add thickness, the polys go nuts. Apparently there's something goofy in the file that's causing this one model to behave badly.

Can anyone with another program try to add thickness to it? Or if I'm missing something obvious, clue me in? All the other parts worked just fine so I'm a bit perplexed.
