Greetings,
So this will be my second attempt at my TASM2 suit... My first one I thought I sized it correctly but turned out to be far too small. So trying again.
This is the Gun Head Design pattern and the sizing instructions said to measure from the middle of the mask to the bottom on the belt. I did that and sent it away to Fabric On Demand, without checking any other measurements which wasnt too smart.
So this time I want to make sure it will fit me. This is my first (well second if you include the wrong sized one haha) suit so Im looking for help from the other suit gurus so have experience with making these for help.
What else should I measure besides just that one middle of mask to bottom of belt to my height?
Here is what I measured this time
The black is the measurement in photoshop and the gray is my measurements. The mask to bottom belt might be off, since the curved neck might throw it off, also not 100% sure where the bottom of his belt is suppose to be but in movie photos, looks like right at his hips.
Also did the arm, from middle finger to under arm
In the Gun Head Design instructions it says middle mask to bottom belt measuring 23" is for a 5'6" person, and 27" is for 5'9"-6'1". I am 5'8" So should it be 26"?
I of course know lycra has considerable stretch, but my old suit was sized to 23" because I was told you want it skin tight so want it a bit smaller. But it was so small I couldnt even zip up the back.
I was told I have a long torso, maybe thats a problem haha i dont know but what do you all think my sizing should be? or what sizes should I be measuring on my self and the suit pattern?
