Need help finding a cheap brown bear costume - Need to cut it up for another costume

I was hoping someone might have a lead on a brown bear costume that's actually cheap. The catch is actually needs to be furry (think Chewie).

I've found some black bears that were in my price range and have the look I need. Too bad their black lolol. I've had no luck with a brown bear though. Most are $700 or more for the right look which is way way more than I want to spend.

I'm trying to piece together a fun costume from a tv show, but this major piece is keeping from actually making it. Anyone have any leads or ideas?

Have you looked over the Fake Furs at your local fabric shop?

Actually...no. lol
I just thought it would be easier to find a suit and go from there, but those things aren't cheap lol. The rest of the costume is pretty simple...This is the costume I have in mind.

I'd walk around giving out flyers asking people if they've seen ManBearPig lol.

No luck locally for faux brown fur.
I've found some online decently cheap. It's only available in certain quantities though. To ensure I have enough, I'd need to spend around $95 + shipping. It looks like the fabric on the expensive brown bear costumes I've seen for $400+.

It's not furry like I was hoping, but it would be perfect as a base with minimal sewing.

Looking at the picture above, what do you guys think? The real furry stuff that I'd have to sew, or find someone to sew, or go with the cheap costume and go from there. Thoughts?
