Need help and advice for a helmet I'm building.

I am currently working on a pressure suit but I'm kind of stuck on the helmet. Essentially, what I'd like to build is a Gemini Program Pressure Helmet. It doesn't have to be exact, as my suit isn't a replica of the real one, but I am going for a similar style.

Hi Doc. I know that this is an old thread, but as of Sept-Oct 2020, Spirit Halloween has some DARNED close Astronaut helmets, complete with see through silvered visor. They are a nicely study plastic/vinyl, not the standard shoddy, throw a way vacu plastic We see so many places. I just bought 2 of them for my Wife/ BFF and I to go as Johnny and Jane Apollo, action figures Marx put out during the late 60s and early 70s both in Xmas catalogues and at the various Space Centers and then as repops from Mexico. The Mexicasts do NOT have a manual and stickers as the originals did.
It won't take much for me to make a few addons for the helmets to accurize them. I hope this helps and cheers!

I just checked the helmet out online. The render looks pretty cool.Could you post a pic sometime of your helmet? I’d love to see what one looks like in real life. A person can never have too many space helmets
