Now why go to all that trouble when I've already grabbed it. B)
The "Relics" bridge is not terribly accurate. But of course it's amazing they bothered to try it at all, so kudos to the TNG crew that attempted it.
The replica really only consists of the Command Module, the turbo doors alcove, and Scotty's Engineering stataion. Note how the set ends in a blank wall to the right of the Engineering console. Also the railing is just shorted on the left side of the set as well (visible as Scotty leaves the holodeck).
The replica set is also very small; the command chair seems to have been shoved back towards the turbo doors, to compress space on the screen (since they didn't have enough set to show the typical angle seen on TOS, which usually goes from Uhura's comm console on the left all the way around past Engineering on the right side).
Note also that the real bridge does not have those big blocky steps up to the second level; instead there are flat stairs.
Compare to the actual bridge, from TOS "This Side of Paradise." A short clip of this shot was looped to serve as the wide shot in Relics when Scotty enters the holodeck.
Also note differences in the Engineering control panel; there are no long rectangular buttons as there appear to be on the replica, only pairs of square buttons. Also nothing is really opaque; clear resin was used for the colored buttons.
Here's to ye, lads.
