Which blaster are you building - the E-11?
Have you tried the Blast Builder's Club? They have some good plans for making blasters from PVC pipe and assorted goodies.

Thanks for the website suggestion. I will use that later when I build an E-11. I was refering to the stormtrooper pistol that was not in any of the movies, but was in the Star Wars Visual Dictionary.

No, that's the trooper pistol you get in some of the old games as your 2nd weapon, games like shadows of the empire. Your best bet would be to find out what the tag is, like E-11 DC-17, etc and then ask around people that are in the 501st.

PVC for the main barrel, then just buy a real grip and use real scopes for bb rifles.
