I need a decal like this in 1/48 scale:

15THAF.png

The diameter of the real marking on the tail of an aircraft is 40 inches (not sure what this converts to when in 1/48 scale).

Can anyone make this decal for me or give me an idea of how much it will cost to have this decal made? I need two of them, but maybe 4 so i have a spare set.

Thanks,

Keith.

i can do it but I have noway of knowing what the size it would be.

You can make this into a water slide decal? If so that would be great! Whats the fee for this sort of work?

I've adjusted the art work a little. This is the final version:
FINALMARKING.jpg

I also have this in bitmap image if thats any better?

I will find out the correct size. I've had a go at converting the 1/1 scale 40" marking to 1/48th scale and i've come up with 0.828125 or fraction 53/64. I will need to get confermation that thats correct first though.

Anyone have any tips on how to get this art work the correct size in photoshop for printing in 1/48 scale?

Thanks,

Keith.

Hi, I was talking to the owner of P&S Hobbies in York UK, a couple of weeks back. He was telling me about a decal film you can put through any printer.
He showed me some stuff he'd printed out and stuck on a railway carriage, and it looked darn good.
You could test the size on some standard paper and when you have the size set up right, print it on the decal sheet.

If you give him a ring, I'm sure he can tell you more, This is the number anyhoo..Tel: 01904611761
Cheers
