Can I just chime in and say that I own several of Magnoli's ties and that they are excellent!

I don't just wear them for costuming, but every time I wear a suit. It's my version of being a tiny bit geeky with my chique.

Been collecting them for years and I now have Magnoli ties from Bladerunner, Doctor Who, James Bond and Indiana Jones.

Also I find that when I wear them normally I get quite a few compliments on my choice of ties. Which gives me a great opportunity to go:

"Welllllllllllllllllllll....."

Do you think you will ever update the Shakespeare Tie?

Not likely, it was just too hard to get the right blend of brown and blue. The end result was too blue overall, and the factory just couldn't seem to get the balance of warp and weft correct using the colors we had available.

I think the only way we could do it is if we had an original (in the correct color) in our hands.

Will you be altering the stripe spacing on the tennant suit cotton anytime soon?

Yes, the next run of Tennant Cotton will have the stripes brought in a couple of millimeters to make it 100% the same as the original. This is super nit-picking though and will only make a different to the look if you're getting the suit in a VERY similar size to Tennant's, otherwise the stripe count on the pockets, etc will vary if you're bigger or smaller.

"Super nit-picking" Haha, sure but I've been curious about the same thing myself lol. As you said it's so minor and not something you could really even notice in use but still nice to know it's right and I've tried to hold off to see the next run come up myself.

Not sure... could be ready in as soon as a month, maybe two. We've still got plenty of the last run available, so we may offer the new run as an upgrade option for those wanting the perfect fabric.

The Hannibal Murder Tie needs to be completely redrawn by hand and, unfortunately, I don't have the spare time at the moment, so it's on the backburner for now...

Here's something I think is rather fun, it's not necessary just for the tie, but the lining of the coat is very striking here.

Hate to bring up a topic from well over a year ago, but seeing as this is a bit of a lull period, here's the best shot I could find of the Eleventh Doctor's Aztec Bow tie. If there's any change in the pattern I can't see one, but I'm not the best at these things.

Here's some screencaps I took in regards to that tie.
I feel like magnoli got the weave right but the colors backwards and not blue enough, people made a big deal about it shifting purple but it's really just a metallic blue I think
And it looks like the connected bits are blue, as opposed to black on the tie as it is now.
