Neck Ring For Rubies Mask

Greetings!
Can anyone give me feedback regarding a neck ring for a modded rubies deluxe mask?
Do I need to taper the mask in the back to accomodate a neck ring? I was tinkering with the idea of removing a portion of the back and replacing it with black material so the neck ring could wrap around the back of the neck area. Another option would be to taper the latex in the back by cutting and using super glue to bring it more to a point.
Any other ideas to accomodate a neck ring?
