So the Dark Horse comic one shot "Predator 1718" tells the origin story of how the Elder Predator from the end of Predator 2 gets the pistol that he hands Harrigan as a trophy, and I wanted to make a version of the Elder that shows that version. A younger predator, he observed a captain from his ship being a victim of mutiny of his own crew, and stepped in and fought back to back with the human until his crew was eliminated. At that moment, the Predator and the captain turned to face one another, the predator with his extendable sword, and the captain with his cutlass... and then another crew member that was hiding in the bushes shot the captain in the back, as he fell forward, the predator caught him and put him on the ground, and blew the crew man away... and then the captain gave his pistol to the elder and said "Take it..." as he died... the predator then left his sword by the captain's body and also told him to "take it"
