NECA 1:4 Scale PREDATOR Figure

My closed mouth came in and the large Neca alien. Epic! Going to add leather straps on the closed mouth and later tonight. Then work on the bones later in the week....

Got my P1 with Gort mask and I must say it's awesome!!! The paint is indeed a bit lighter in tone in comparison with other three P1's I have and I think black dots on his palms are a bit bigger as well. And I totally agree with Guan-thwei that the skull accessory is just AMAZING! I must say I really  these guys! I really hope we get 1/4 P2 treatment in the future as well...

Would be Dream come true, if we see all the P2 predators in 1/4 scale. OMg! Ram in 1/4 goodness!

I just hope that NECA can deliver on our hopes and sweet Predator dreams on these 1/4th works of art before HT beats them to the punch, but I would love to see these two companies really duke them out in the 1/4th Predator war.

Man I hope your right. If they do as good or better of a job on 1/4 P2 as they did on the 1/4 P1 they will have a sure winner. There are very few descent P2 models or figures out there. Even the Sideshow P2 diorama had horrible paint apps. If Neca does the 1/4 P2 like the 12" (sculpt and paint app) prototype displayed at comicon a few years ago that would be perfect.

Here are the questions/answers from twitter:

Q: Hey Randy, ans news about Terminator 18"

A: not just yet but 1/4 scale City Hunter is in development

Q: Any hope for a 1/4 scale Cameron Alien to compliment the Pred?

A: we might improve and revisit the original 79 Alien first if it does well we'll see

I'm so glad that they are doing this in 1/4th scale ofcourse based on this thread everyone knows I'm all about the 1/4th scale stuff I just think my money is well worth spent based on packaging, scale, and detail of the figure.

that's exactly my opinion on this as well, the spent is really worth it. I love quarter scale figs esp Preds and Alien.

'in development" -- does that mean any day now, or a few weeks, or several months, or maybe 2013
as far as actually being able to purchase one?
Just curious.

I would have to say you are looking at the of the year possibly to the beginning of next year because of the planning, production, then mass distribution of the product, so it may be a while yet well worth the wait unless HT beats them to the punch with their 1/4th line of Predators if they release theirs way early based on the goal for 2012.

Thanks -- that means I can set aside $30/mo and by the time time one of them hits the market, purchasing will be fun, exciting as usual, and a bit painless... till then, the waiting is the hard part, lol!
