NBC's Community

I'm starting to see the actors for Community show up on other stuff.
Saw Fat Neil on one of the 'CSI' style shows my wife loves 9and I equally hate) so much, couldn't tell which one it was as those shows all look alike to me.

Harmon JUST announced on a podcast this last week that him and Erin Mcgathy are divorcing.

Bummer, but should get the creative juices flowing! Start writing that movie!

In case I sound insensitive, I should note that I think he's a fool for screwing that up... Erin Mcgathy is awesome (she's the one who married Garret in the wedding videography ep)...

It will be tough for him to find a girl who'll put up with his craziness - but as a cute, hilarious, redhead, Erin will be just fine.

He's got fame, that's all it takes, at least for short-term relationships...

There lies the problem. He doesn't seem a short term guy... but is kinda toxic with relationships... hence his end quote at the end of Community season 6.

Man, I wish someone would make a copy of the Greendale Diploma. It'd be hilarious to hang one of those in my office at work.
Ironically, I do have a real community college diploma (yes, it took me many years to earn it) but I haven't even looked at the thing but the one time when I got it, just to make sure the name was correct. It's been in the envelope ever since, right next to my real college BA diploma I earned in 2 years as soon as I was done with community college...

FYI, I just picked up the DVD set at lunch. I'll probably get to watching it before the weekend, I hope. I don't really recall the episodes all that clearly as I only watched each one time. As long as it has the usual blooper reel and cut scenes, I'll be happy with it, even if it was a much sorter season.

Okay, well I'm a few episodes into it now and I find season 6's DVD worth the money.
Not as many bonus items on disk 1, such as only 3 cut scenes. But then again, it's possible they didn't have any other scenes they filmed and never used. I haven't looked at the other one but I am hoping for a good blooper reel on that, as in seasons past, the blooper reel was almost as funny as the show itself.

I bought a monthly pass to watch Harmontown weekly to get over the hole left with no Community.

Watching a crazy talented alcoholic get on stage for 2 hours and get black out drunk while rapping and fighting with his old pal, Rob Schrab, stops the withdrawal shakes.

Though I have all the seasons on DVD, I have been watching some syndicated episodes and they're in season 4 right now. It just occurred to me, they never apparently resolved the whole deal on who was going to be Valedictorian, Annie and Shirley?
For that matter, Jeff was the only one they ever showed graduating at all...

They really nailed that final episode.
Yeah, I didn't think so when I first watched it online, but after watching the DVD (after only seeing the one time before because I watching shows online), I saw that final episode as a perfect ending for a great series.
Still hoping for the movie, though... :cool

A movie seems totally plausible with respect to the dynamic of the show. Some crazy "vs. city college" scheme or something would totally make for a fun film, and it's way less of an obligation for all of the original cast.

I agree. Heck, we were promised a robot spider run by City College at the end of season 3 (I think?) and they of course never did anything with it.
In fact, you stopped hearing about city college after a while, now that I think on it. They could have done something with that for the 6th season for the :"Save Greendale Committee" but never did...
