Wonder Woman NOT happening

NBC strikes again... it's official, they are passing on the Wonder Woman series and it appears to be dead now. The ONE show I was looking foward to next year since Smallville is over and they ruin that . So no superhero shows in the works, I need a superhero FIX! It's reported on ksite tv.

Damn, I was really hoping to see Wonder Woman cracking jokes as the CEO of an ice cream company about how worried she is her **** will pop out of her top.

I was looking forward to this... But, there was a lot of negativity coming from the fanboys.

I liked the idea of a "rockstar" superhero... had potential that we'll never see now, because people are too busy bickering about shiny pants.

I am always happy to see a female superhero, but my old boss read the pilot script and said it was not good, so I did not have high hopes.
they are shopping it to other channels so we might still see it.

I wasn't sure about it based on the pics we saw posted but still would have given it a shot. Oh well. Hopefully someone else picks it up

Everything I read sounded like a train wreck.

Maybe they can try again and get it right someday.
Though I think an animated series is long overdue as well.

ReallY...yes...I used the search feature with the words Wonder Woman and nothing came up so if you have an issue and your life is so devoid of entertainment that the only thing better you have to do with your time is be an ass then do it elsewhere. Do me a favor and take your snarky sarcastic BS elsewhere. Your habit of coming in to threads with NOTHING to contribute gets really freakin old. Dont let the door kit you on the way out. If you cant converse in a civil fashion then avoid my threads. Your social retardation is wearing thin with a lot of folks.

And for your info I posted it in the OT forum where posts like this usually go and there isnt a post about it.If you look at teh time stamps Steve and I were typing pretty much at teh same time. Makes me think the only person who should be checking things before speaking is you. Youd be far better served to either ask a civil question, make a civil statement or say nothing at all. The ONLY person that looks bad in a situation like this an ill mannered socially awkward person such as yourself that NEVER misses a chance to **** people off. Worry more about yourself and less about the trivial things...you may end up slightly less disliked. As it is youre little more then a borderline troll.

Even though you posted it in the OT, entertainment threads regarding shows belong in the Movie Forum.....and to answer him in such manner makes yourself look bad in the process as well because one comment irritated you enough to rip him a new one....you could have responded in a more civil manner as well

The script was horrid. Whoever had the idea to give thsi project to Mr Ally McBeal should be in the unemployment line. If or one believe that this is one of the hardest properties to do justice to the comic AND work as a show. It was pretty apparent from reading the story idea that they didnt know what they were doing and its no fault of the actors. I think they would be better served doing WW as a Smallville spinoff (little late) or leave it alone until AFTER the Justice League movie. Im just not sure theres enough there for a standalone anymore and what worked in the 70s just wont work today.

I would have certainly entertained a one off motion picture, but a series doesn't seem interesting enough to go beyond the one week stint it would have played at the box office.

This isnt a one time deal its an all the time deal with this attitude displayed by KA. Secondly if you check the time stamp there is only 5 minutes difference between my post and Steves. Third its says MOVIE DISCUSSION FORUM not ENTERTAINMENT which is why I searched and posted in the OT.
Fourth, its just as easy to say, "Hey bro, this has already been posted here" then to post the snarky way that he did. Im not the guy to play that with. Treat me with respect and youll get the same. ER...you seem to take some sort of joy on these threads taking the opposing side from me and history shows not usually the correct one. If you dont like how I do business there is a block button. Kerr has an established history of being downright rude and curmudgeonly without cause on this board. I dont tolerate it. Agreed...it just doesnt work. I think theyd have to do more like what they are doing with Thor and actually embrace the mythology as opposed to trying to downplay it and pretend it doesnt exist. I think the character will do well as a supporting character but I dont think they have the ability to make the character stand on her own.
