National Treasure...case for the "campaign medals"

Hi all,

after we started a discussion already in Taz thread over here...

i decided to start a new thread for the case/frame to hold the medals/buttons (mainly to keep Taz thread clean).

So here is what i have by now.

Both pics are taken with flash, so in "real" the canvas is a little bit darker then shown above. I will try to catch the screen color as close as possible, but what you think about the material ? Close enough ?

If you compare my version with the screenshot posted by Stefan you will see some gaps between the canvas-plates. So we would need some "holding mechanism" for the Buttons. With my version you can stick it simply on the board (at least if you have some attachment to the button itself).

What you think? Go to be more screen accurat, about the gaps...let me know what you think.

Ok guys...i was shopping yesterday and tried to get some better canvas. Here what i brought home...

First one again in total + some more details:

So what you think now?

PS: Nothing realy fixed yet, so it is still not final. Hope to get this done by end of next week. That will allow me to make some pics, trying to catch the same angle as the screenshoot. Nevertheless i am quit happy with it right now :angel

looks pretty cool so far, only thing I would like to see is some pictures shot with daylight, so I can see the real colors..
but this one looks very promising so far !! congratulations !!

As soon as i have a practicable idea how to fix the interior construction, to allow everbody to attach the buttons in an easy and practicable way So give me some more days

@Stefan, sry still no pics by daylight.

But i have managed to get the interior fixed. See enclosed. The complete thing can be taken out, so everybody can attach the buttons.

I will start an interest thread in the JY the next view minutes.
