Gday folks

Mars and i thought we would take a crack at producing our own take on this little piece but to make it more interesting and build on our own skills we considered casting in pewter.

I have some excellent reference so stay tuned;)

Very cool. I can't wait.

So can you share a little info on it? Metal cast, cold cast resin?

Semi OT - But do any of you watch PAWN STARS where they gut brought in 3 authentic Washington Campaign buttons? Very cool!!

You are doing this one, right?

Yup...you got it Brad lol It's that one although with the screen detailing. Looking to do them in pewter at this stage. Me being back down the mine doesn't help speed things along so be patient....look how long the BOS took lol

Warm Regards

As a lucky owner of your fantastic Book of Secrets I already startet to look for some more stuff and inserts to add. This is so much fun :thumbsup
Unfortunately there wasnt enough time to completely read the whole story, but its cool to just open it again and again and read here and there.....
Just for a little *bump* I wanted to show two inaugural buttons I bought about two weeks ago. one cuff sized and a larger George Washington coat sized button. Its pictured on your BoS, so you get the idea.....:)

so, since there is still some space left, any news on this project ?

Picked up the GW coat buttom myself. Makes for a great addition to my NT display!

Looking forward to any updates when they come Taz!!

Nearly there....The real button/medal has a diameter of 25 mm which looks a wee small to me. But I could be wrong. I have a couple of screencaps here. What's the general opinion? Go with 25mm or around 8% bigger or so around 30 mm ? That looks better to me. Well??
