Name of the 80s airsoft rifle used in movies?

Does anyone know the name and manufacturer of the raygun looking airsoft rifle that was used in movies during the 80s? It was most prominently featured in "Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone", where it was Ernie Hudson's weapon, and was detailed with fishing rod rings. There was also a friction toy gun in that design. Thanks in advance.

Almost.

The pistol was a Webley Hurricane (I have one), marketed in the States as the Typhoon by Beeman.

But the rifle in question was a Masudaya Thunderbolt (I have one of these too ).
