My "You're Next" Fox Costume - DragonCon 2013..

I saw the movie on 8-14-2013 at an advanced screening and LOVED IT! :thumbsup I decided then I was going to do it for DragonCon at the end of August.. I won one of the auctions done by Lionsgate Films through ebay, and it came with an autographed poster, and the 3 masks (Fox, Tiger, Lamb)..

The only thing I'm not happy with is the mask is too glossy? What would be best to use to dull it down, and also I would like to add some blood spatter to it..

So here is what I came up with..

I would say use some 400 grit sand paper and wet sand it. As for blood splatter, try mixing some dark red with some light brown and take a brush and flick it on. Hope it helps!
