I tried to stay true to form when I built it, but I wanted to add some of my own flair, so that I knew it was "mine". You will notice some of my detailing is different from the pictures, but it also depends on what version you go for, as there are many different renditions of this character. I have added some things and still have a few to add, and also change to make it absolutely complete, but I was certainly happy with it.
I have since made friends with Jeremy & Bob from WEP here in St louis, which landed me some really cool blueprints and unreleased stuff to work from to do my Voltron Force (nicktoons version). I also got a chance to meet Brandon Thomas, for the release of Voltron #1 of the new comic series. Super cool. Actually, if I was gonna do another version of this 1st gen costume, I would use the Sean Chen versions as my ref. He keeps it really traditional and just plain cool! Thanks for the replys fellas', I certainly appreciate it, and will try and help as much as possible if anyone trys to go for the build....
