My VOLTRON costume

Awesome!!! Id love to do a Voltron costume some day! I take it its foam? Do you have progress pics?
 
Thanks guys! Matt, it is all cardboard and foam. I wanted to do my first build on the cheap for 2 reasons. 1. cause its cheap! 2. I wanted to see how cool it would turn out only using stuff I already had (I save cardboard like crazy)
Here's how it all started....
 
Here's the Green arm.... This was much easier, since I had already done the red arm, only I had to add the circular shape to the top.
 
That looks really boss! Do you ever have any problems with the cardboard breaking down when you're out-and-about?
 
Surprisingly, no. I have worn this costume 20-25 times and the only problem I've had is the velcro seperating from the flaps on the chest piece from taking it on and off so much. I learned a lot, as this was my first try at a FULL costume. I am trying my hand and a couple new things as we speak, so I will post some of that when I get going more on them.....
 
Sweet build, thanks for sharing!!! what did you look at for your design, model or pics? can you show some of those? Even your sword turned out well!! (Cant believe no one has tried to make a metal version for sale) Can you list all matieral that you used? looking forward to see more works!!!!
