You say first 1:1 head sculpt, but I CANNOT believe its your first scuplture ever, or any type.

Could you share a bit about yourself, and your skills?  Have you had formal training?

No no - not my first sculpture ever - just my very first 1:1 Lifesize Headsculpt
I ever did - I use to work in 6 inch scale - so normally the heads and likenesses
I do are under 1 inch in size - :p

I am a Freelance Action Figure Sculptor here in Germany. Most of the stuff I'm
currently doing is "soccer" Action Figures for a company from the Netherelands.

After all I've started sculpting only 3 or 4 years ago ... really Proffessionaly now
for about half a year.

I have had no "Formal Training" whatsoever - I'm an Autodidact - Selftought through
the all famous technique of "Try and Error" - :D

It is my very first 1:1 Headsculpt at all, so
please be nice, as I know it's not 100% perfect

Liars will not be tolerated here on the board, so you might as well admit that this isn't your first sculpt and be done with it

Thats amazing work, especially for a first one :thumbsup

I just "fooled around" a bit with my Photopaint and added the Original
Alec Guinness Eyes into a pic of my sculpt -  :p

The combination is not perfect though ...  :(

But it gives you a bit of an impression what he could look like with some
Glass-Eyes installed -  ;)

Wow - I swear I'm looking at Sir Alec's head spraypainted grey. Hats off again JRX - your work is phenomenal

Thanks a lot everyone for all the nice comments - I'm overwhelmed - :)

Just to make it clear - it is not my "first" Sculpt, but my "first 1:1 lifesize" Sculpt - :lol

I was bored.
'scuse the wonky squint. :p

That's an amazing sculpt. Dead on. Very impressed, here...

You seriously need to get it moulded and cast. I mean, what if something happened to the original? It would be lost forever.

;)

This thing is screaming to be reproduced, and talk about timing...

Following the whirlwind of OB-1 saber parts discoveries this past fall, what a PERFECT time for an dead-on accurate bust.

Inagine the figure that could be made.

That's outstanding work. I wish I had sculpting talent. I drink too much Dr. Pepper to have a steady hand, though. :)

Awesome job.

That is just so spooky. Very cool.

Did I mention that I was impressed? Well, I am... you do great justice to the subject.

Again, keep up the good work and if you need some casting/molding info, just let me know.

WOW - top nice. :thumbsup

You've obviously got some REAL talent there....

AMAZING work. Just incredible detailing and likeness. I love it.......

:cheers

Tom

JRX, what can I say that's not already been said?

Nothing.
So, I'm just going to repeat what others have written.
That is just FANTASTIC work.
You're a very talented guy.

What's next on your list???

Howard.
