My Updated 1:1 Bust Collection Pictures (large pics)

WOAH, very VERY nice, I'd be happy if my new room turns out half as good as that. You've got some magnificent pieces.

Cheers,

Kraig

Impressive collection Gruson. What have you done with your great statues? May i ask what parts you have used for your vader. Looks awesome.

Very nice:thumbsup
I wanted to ask where you got the Alien bust?
I have wanted to find both an Alien and Predator for some time, and although I see the Preds around on a regular bases, I don't seem to ever see any life size alien busts (or even just the head or skull.)

I never get tired of looking at your collection Jeff. Each piece is a masterpiece! You have the most elegant presentation I've ever seen.

MORE PICS!!!

Very nice collection of busts Gruson.
I particularly like those pedestals the busts are displayed on, are they custom made?

Beautiful stuff as always. I really like the stand/display for the Chris Reeve/Supes bust. Very cool!

Jeff,

I never get tired of seeing your display room. It really does look fantastic!
You've got some awesome pieces in there and the black pedestals really help to show them off in a very classy way.

Cheers,

Chris

Thanks.

To answer some questions:

Forsaken, the pedestals came from various places. A local store went out of business and sold them for $10 each! I also have a local contact who makes them for me now.

Darth Niob,I sold the statues to fund the busts when I decided to go 1:1 scale.
As for the Vader, most of the pieces are portumac with some modifications.

KnightAsylum, that Aliens bust is VERY hard to find now. A member here helped me locate one. I highly recommend it. The quality is amazing.
Good luck finding it, the last one I saw sold for over $1600.

Okay, let me say first that I love this room. It truly looks like a museum showroom and the busts are outstanding. Now the part where evrybody is going to hate me...I liked it better when you had the statues. :redface

Wonderful setup... between the peds and the lighting, you've got a real museum-like feel. Classy and elegant!

Tom
