my trip to wizarding world of harry potter

Great pics! Were you there recently when it was COLD. I saw people being interview on the news at WWoHP griping cause they'd not expected the cold weather and had had to buy hats and scarves and gloves and coats......
I would have loved to have been there when it was that cold, would have made the snow on the rooftops and the snowman very believable!!!

Well, if you mean why do people look so miserable in my photos, it's probably because it was the middle of summer and stupidly hot! :lol It was close to 100 degrees and about 80 or 90 percent humidity. It was also extremely crowded. The line just to get into that section of the park was about 10 hours long. Once in, you had an hour to 2 hour wait to get into the gift shops and a 2 to 3 hour wait for Forbidden Journey.

Everyone was heading to the castle to ride Forbidden Journey. You can pretty much walk onto the Flight of the Hippogriff or Dragon Challenge.

Since then, I've heard that the lines have died down to what you might expect at an amusement park. Still, the gift shops are small and the items they sell are VERY popular. The gift shops have a lot of cool things to see that are not for sale, but if you want to buy the items you're better served buying them online, at the Harry Potter gift shop in the airport, or at the main gift shop as you walk into Islands of Adventure.

Having said ALL of that, I really do love this park. Just walking through the village and walking up to Hogwarts is amazing!

I was there last week and it did get cold. What I do not understand is, this should not have surprised anyone. The forcast was calling for cold weather at least a week before I left. Watching weather reports, we packed accordingly. I saw people walking around with the blankets from their hotel wrapped around them. I had a great time and spent a fair amount of money on Harry Potter items. The only other thing that Universal had to
offer was WhoVille. That was done quite well.
