My Transforming Bumblebee Costume

Yes I am adding MANY lights, but I must be done with the transforming parts first. Movint the sholders in or out 1 ich is not such a big deal now, but after adding wiring it will be a more complex task. Head lights, tail lights are a must .

Very cool... My only crit would be can you lock the rear wheel in place and stop it swinging back and forth?

I built in a lock, releases just before trigger pulls down rear quater. Repeated use has caused a fail, still working on making it reliable. Part of the problem is the weight of the rear quater, combined with the fact that I need a very strong spring to bring it "up". Lots of momentum to counter with every step, and need to "Lock" and "unlock" with out my touching it. If you have any ideas, please post :)

wow that loks incredible !
I watched the most recent video and then the 3rd episode and MAAJOR differences youve deffinatly put your all into this build ! :D

The sad part is...there is as lot to go still, I'm adding parts to the arm extenions so they lay in JUST the right place. then adding braces in the underside of the hood so IT sits just right, THEN i'm going to reset the rear quaters so they ride about 2 inches higher....all so car mode looks good. I'm pretty happy with robot mode(other than swinging rear quater). Thanks for following along with me :) Oh when I'm done, I am adding Lighttape.

This has got to be my fav ever build. I can't wait to see the end result. The amount of time and effort (I wont even ask about cost! lol) that's obviously going into this is truely impressive and that's really going to be visible in the final reveal. Keep us posted. I can't wait :)

I agree this costume project has been monumentous th' time that ya have taken ta get this just right not to mention th' engineering side of things awesome!!!! Keep it up Tom.
