I finally got one of these on eBay without paying an arm and a leg. I've wanted one of these for years but never could justify paying the MR prices on eBay. So I repainted this one and was very happy with how it turned out.
Thanks! I started out with silver rub/buff. Then layering different browns and a thinned gold paint, and a little black paint pen. After that, I scratched off some areas to show through. Not hard, just takes some time to let it dry in between coats.
