Re: My Star Wars and Lifesize Collection - Office and Workshop
I really appreciate your compliments, Guys.
Thanks you so much.
More like museum than a collection. :eek
You have some real talent & a great eye for detail.
Congrats!
That was my intension. This happens if you want all beloved characters around you...But I´m sure you know that yourself.

Just to notice: I started with my lifesize ANH Vader in 1995. And the troopers in 1997. I guess this was when almost everyone was just dreaming of having it. And over the years one came after another. I built everything from scratch that Ihasn´t been available. Like my Chewbacca, Anakin and Yoda, and bought only the things that have been called "cast from originals" or just "originals". I´m still holding my eyes open to a cast from the original Yoda molds, or the mold itself. I don´t know if it ever appears, but if so, I would like to improve my animatronic Yoda puppet with it.
Because I am in love with details, my motto has always been not to lay hands on things that are not perfect. Otherwise I would have suffered a lot from the lack of details. That is the reason why I replaced some things with more improved ones over the years. My ANH Vader for example had already 4 masks and domes, three belts, 2 pair of gloves, 3 lightsabers, 4 chest boxes, 2 bodies, 2 capes, 2 cod pieces and is still not finished. The old game, everybody of you know... One of my pride is that I had the opportunity to had hands on the real Vader mask that gave the so called TM mask run.
I am living from being a sculptor, puppet- and modell maker and stage builder. Making things for my Star Wars Collection is just a very nice side effect to improve my skills.
"Impressive. Most impressive"

Nice collection thanks for posting!
I´m glad, you like it.
I might add my 12 inch stop mption puppets to my collection thread, although they are not 1:1 scale, and are all stored in boxes nowadays, they are still a part of my collection. I actually built all 300 of them myself, when I was a teeny and twen in the late 80s and in the 90s. All scratch built with features like working lights, removeable helmets and poseable limbs and replacement heads. Everything you need to make a stop motion movie with them. What I actually also did. I´m thinking about displaying them again. But don´t know if this will be too much. Anyway. here a the pics how these friends had been displayed in the past:

I hope you like them
