That is looking freaking amaaaaazing man. Nicely done.I finally molded the body to my TIE Fighter. I don't really enjoy making matrix molds. My molds never come out as clean as I would like, especially when I compare them to the professional mold makers I work with. well at least they worked.

And finally....I've actually started to build my TIE Fighter. Most of the parts in these pictures are just on temporarily.

Got it...so you drill the holes when the mold + jacket is removed from the model I gather? Any screw will do; I see that you used plaster wall screwsThanks a lot everybody! I really appreciate it.
joberg, the screws are there to plug the bleeder holes in the mold jacket. I drill small holes in the high spots of the jacket to eliminate trapped air pockets in the silicone.

Ok cool I thought so, but wanted to ck. You see the floor in some 3d models and the Mpc kits. Probably an extrapolation from the full size sets. Thanks !There's no grating in the actual TIE model. It's just flat, There's no floor really. There is a grating looking thing on the ceiling.
