got the sword the other day, its not fully done but its a start...i also order the storm shadow sword also so im starting that too

They've been available from Museum Replicas for a few months now, nice pieces for the price.

I was approached by museum replicas at DC, appearantly they will be making a Phantom costume based on the 1940 original comic strip so they were asking about my suit. I am excited to see the outcome of that.

the visor is made out of resin and hood is Balaclava

i'm in the process of making my Snake Eyes & Storm Shadow costumes too.....and the swords are really something to see in person, decided to add them to my tattoo collection they were so impressive.....i'm going for the Image/Devil's Due look for Snake Eyes and Storm shadow, found out that an Underarmor hood turned inside out looks amazingly like a certain couple of ninja's hoods, add in one of those awesome resin visors, and the look is great...got my white ninja suit the other day too, can't wait to get these babies done...

I actually really like the look of the Sigma 6 visor he wears and even the CG flicks. I wanna give those a shot if I ever do a Snake Eyes, which I think everyone wants to do.

Too bad we never got a live action JOE movie. The animated movie was lots of fun back in the day. Decent plot, and answered a lot of questions about the origins of COBRA.

thats what i used for my hood....i ordered a white under armor too and im waiting on my logos to get done so i can add them to my storm shadow

Mandalorian Gunslingerr - D'oh. I never thought of an underarmor hood to use. That's a good idea. When I built my costume back in 1998 I just have been using a ninja hood off one of those old ninja costumes. I think I'll try and find an underarmor hood now.

Those MR swords are nice but with that scimitar type end on the Snake-Eyes sword, you'd have to make some kind of custom scabbard for it, so yeah I own a MR version, but still use a normal Ninja-To sword on my suit.

Not purposely trying to hijack your thread(s). I'd post the same stuff on anybody's Snake-Eyes thread. There's such as very small handful of Snake-Eyes costumers around I enjoy joining into the conversation in the rare case one thread pops up. I'm not selling any parts or anything, just adding to the general Snake-Eyes discussion. I talked to 2 different Snake-Eyes costumers in person at Dragon Con this year, and both of them approached me when I was in costume and they weren't. I wished I could have talked to both of them longer and seen them in their own costumes. Have I ever said anything bad about you or your costume? No. Just talking Snake-Eyes costuming here, isn't that was the Snake-Eyes thread here is about?
