My Sixth Finger Mask

I worked with John Chambers who created the foam prosthetic for Outer Limits in the early 80s. Before that I worked with Fred Philips one Star Trek the Motion Picture. Fred was the key make up artist on Outer Limits and TOS Star Trek.

I always wanted to do the Sixth finger as a mask. I did it in foam rubber as a prosthetic years ago but wanted something to sit in my office.

That looks great! There's something quite charming about old school make-up.

Thanks Doh. Soon there will be no more of this kind of thing except here as CGI white washes the dawn.

That will be a sad day, indeed. Hopefully, however, the artisans on this board will keep the tradition alive even if Hollywood doesn't.
